Compliant offer complimentary webinar on ISO 14001

Environmental and sustainability practices within businesses are more relevant than ever before with an increasing number of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) and top tier suppliers requiring their supply chain to have an accredited environmental standard.

With this in mind, ISO management specialists, Compliant, are offering a complimentary webinar to explain more about gaining ISO 14001, the internationally recognised standard for environmental management.

Compliant, who are based in Sunderland, support businesses across the UK, Ireland and more recently, North America and have experienced a huge demand in their services during the last thee years.  As businesses emerged from the Covid pandemic, many took this as an opportunity to invest in their future and with many government and public sector contracts requiring an ISO standard, Compliant increased their range of services and resources to cope with demand.

For companies and organisations of any type that are looking to become a valuable member of a supply chain, gaining ISO 14001, the environmental standard, is an investment not to be missed.  Suitable for any sectors and business size, the standard sets out a framework to set up an effective environmental management system.

With an increase in enquiries for the standard, Compliant decided to team up with business development organisation, the North East Automotive Alliance, to offer a complimentary webinar to explain the process, benefits and timescales of gaining ISO 14001.

With high interest expected, businesses are urged to book their space as soon as possible to avoid missing out on this highly informative webinar.

Compliant managing director, Mark Henderson, who will be hosting the webinar and who himself is a BSI trained lead auditor to the five main ISO standards, including ISO 14001, commented, ‘We’re seeing a large increase in enquiries from businesses in relation to the environmental management standard so we’re delighted to be working with the NEAA to offer this complimentary webinar to provide more information and advice on the process.

We know it can be daunting for many businesses to embark on an ISO standard, with many misconceptions about pricing, resources and timescales, we’re hoping by providing clear and concise advice, we can support those looking to grow their organisations and help them to capitalise on the many supply chain opportunities which are currently available.’

The webinar is being held on Wednesday the 18th October at 1.30pm and will last for 45 minutes, there will be an overview of the standard, advice and guidance and the opportunity to pose questions to Mark.  You can book your space via Eventbrite here.
