Managing legionella bacteria in hot and cold water systems can be difficult.

These bacteria are dormant below 20°C and do not survive above 60°C.

Legionnaires’ disease is a potentially fatal type of pneumonia. It is contracted by inhaling airborne water droplets containing Legionella bacteria.  

Such droplets are created, by hot and cold-water outlets. These include atomisers, wet air conditioning plants, and whirlpool or hydrotherapy baths.
