CASE STUDY: ARMAH Switchgear

Compliant partnered with ARMAH Switchgear in June of this year to support with their health and safety certification. The North East based business wanted to gain ISO 45001 to ensure a safe working environment for employees and maintain high standards in health and safety.

With over 30 years of experience, ARMAH Switchgear successfully, designs, manufactures and installs L.V. Switchgear, nationwide.

We discussed the UKAS accredited ISO certifications that we offer, how we could help with implementation and within a few weeks had started ARMAH Switchgear’s journey to becoming ISO 45001 certified.

Last week, we were delighted to share that their certification had been successful, supporting the personnel in ARMAH Switchgear’s factory, regarding health and safety, and helping to attract new business.

What is ISO 45001?

The ISO 45001 Standard for Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) provides organisations with a solution to better manage health and safety risks, while reducing associated costs.

Released in March 2018, the standard replaces OHSAS 18001 and allows management system integration with other ISO standards, which provides a more streamlined approach to multiple system management.

What they said?

“Compliant have been great from day one, very thorough, very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend them.”

By gaining ISO 45001 certification, ARMAH have invested in not only their people but also their business overall.  The standard increases trust, efficiencies and improves individual safety. We are delighted that a North East based, company have decided to invest in such a worthwhile standard.
