Why did On The Go Traffic Management initially decide to invest in ISO & NHSS?
Providing leading traffic management services throughout the UK, the company, who have offices in Cambridgeshire and Wolverhampton, decided to invest in ISO 9001 and the National Highways Sector Scheme to enable them to expand their customer portfolio and show their commitment to quality.
In order to gain accreditation to the National Highways Sector Scheme, a business must also have ISO 9001 therefore the decision was taken by the business to invest in both standards.
Director, Tom Burgess, commented, ‘In order to carry out our work on highways throughout the UK and continue to grow our business, we knew that by gaining both of these nationally and internationally recognised standards it would demonstrate our commitment to quality to our current and future client base.’
The Process
Working with Compliant, the company are now into their fourth year of maintaining the standards. Having initially carried out their due diligence in gaining pricing from various consultants who could support their certifications, the company decided to opt for Compliant due to their experience and knowledge.

This enables myself and the team to get on with our day to day job with the reassurance that when audit day arrives, everything should go smoothly, with zero room for improvement on our most recent check, this has worked brilliantly.’
The Outcome
Following their 4th surveillance audit, On the Go Traffic Management were successful in retaining their UKAS accredited ISO 9001 and NHSS certification, this was testament not only to the hard work of their team but also the advance preparation in relation to documentation.
